The Photoflex Starlite Bi-Pin Adapter Kit enables you to use a G9.5 base lamp in the Starlite QL and other continuous light heads that have E39 Mogul-base sockets. A 1000 watt lamp is included with this kit.
The Adapter comes with a socket base featuring two spring clips for holding ceramic based, 2 pin G9.5 lamps. A glass cover for enclosing the lamp is also included.

- Several lamp styles can be used with the Bi-Pin adapter including styles EHC, EHD, EHF, EHG, FEL, FKR, FLK.
- May be used with 220-240 volt lamps

I travel internationally quite a bit and use the starlights for my lighting package. The Bi-pin adapter works ok but the lamp takes longer to cool then regular bulbs, so give some extra time to cool when your breaking down. I've made the mistake of traveling with the globe still in the adapter and broke the glass... lesson learned. Also, if you can pack all the parts separately due to the fact that if you screw the top and bottom together, the vibration of travel with lock the two together and you wont be able to get them apart without breaking the porcelain bases. So, take good care the unit when you travel and you should not have problems. This unit works great and is a great space saver instead of caring many of the other globes.
