Got this for my new MacBook Pro 15". Protection was my main concern and this baby is rock solid! Nice fit and finish and I carry my laptop with peace of mind. It IS a little heavy with the computer safely tucked inside, but its worth the extra weight for the protection factor. Be mindful of things around you (I carry mine with the optional strap) as you can skin up paint finishes on walls and automobiles if you let the case swing freely. You'll have to find another way to bring any accessories along as the case is just big enough for the computer. In fact, I had to remove a little more foam than I would have liked on the sides - especially the top and bottom, but I still feel there is adequate cushioning. One more size up would have added more cushion, but more bulk and weight, as well. The latches are solid and lockable. I like that they offer this in "Desert Tan", its a nice color option. I am also considering using the case to do "double duty" by purchasing the replacement foam and adding a set up to carry microphones to my my music gigs. Great case!

We are using this case for 3 Sennheiser Wireless Systems. If you layout it out carefully it will also hold a couple of hand-held mics as well.
It really is a solid little case about the size of an attache case.
