I just wanted to write and tell you about my recent experience with SageMax Warranty Repair, (Warranty Logistics Inc.).
I had never had to use my warranty protection coverage before, but after my wife and I went on Vacation to Florida for two weeks, I unfortunately found the necessity of having to use this coverage for the first time. While in The Disney Parks, I accidentally dropped my camera rendering the lens and the camera unusable. It dented the outer lens structure and the lens would no longer close or function. My mistake completely.
After we arrived back home from vacation, I called SageMax. This process was about the smoothest I have ever encountered. Not only was most of my information from the original purchase already in their system, but they mailed me a label, which I received in two days, and the entire repair and turnaround took less than 2 weeks. I could not be happier with the service and professionalism from SageMax customer service and repair. The camera is completely fixed. I know they had to replace parts instead of just fixing them, because the dented area on the front of the camera was pretty damaged from the fall to the ground, so I know they REPLACED the damaged parts. It is also quite clear that they make every effort to handle the camera's with kid gloves. The camera was packaged, sealed and secured in the return back. Very impressive. I received a complete detail of what was done to my camera and all testing's completed by the technician to ensure it was indeed operating according to original specs.
The handling of this entire matter from SageMax, from the original conversation with customer service, all the way through shipping, automated telephone acknowledgments of receiving and return was handled with complete and total professionalism and I am very thankful that we purchased this coverage. I had my doubts at first it would have been a covered repair, especially since I was the one who dropped the camera, but much to my surprise when I got home to read the warranty coverage's, accidental damage was covered. Unbelievable.
Just wanted to let you know that this was the first time I have ever had to use my warranty coverage, and I will not hesitate after this service to not only purchase the coverage in the future, but to recommend this coverage to everyone. It was well worth it.

I am based in the north of england and baught this product whilst on holiday in New york. This product is great for me as it covers me for any damage which occurs in the UK as i do not permanently reside in NYC. Having this cover in place and knowing that i can get my Camera fixed even though i live in the UK is great because it will save me a lot of money.

I purchased a Sony HX5V P & S.............What a great camera. Since I am going to use this camera primarily sailing, I feel it would be a good back-up to have a solid warranty and insurance behind this.
Hopefully I will not have to utilize the warranty!
