- No Lemon Policy
- If your product requires a fourth qualified repair for the same defect, NEW will replace it with a like model at no additional cost to you - or your original purchase price is refunded (including tax).
- In-House Repair Service
- If the original manufacturer warranty covers in-house repair service, NEW will honor the in-house service for the 3-year duration of this plan.

I decided to buy the SAGEMAX protection plan with my Canon G9 that I purchased in 2008 and it was the best decision. In August 2010, the lens on my camera just quite working one day. I called SAGEMAX and their service was amazing. The camera was fixed and returned within a week. [...] I ended up having to send the camera in for repairs three more times. Everytime SAGEMAX was courteous and concerned. I never received one hassle. They finally decided the camera couldn't be repaired and SAGEMAX refunded my entire purchase price. I turned right around and bought a new camera - with a 3 year SAGEMAX protection plan.

IF you are getting a camera there is no reason to not get the extra protection plan. Most camera only cover product defect. this covers everything else and if you break your camera, they will replace it or compensate it.

I recently purchased a new camera because my 2-year old one broke due to some water damage. I had a Sagemax protection plan on the first camera and they reimbursed me the full cost of my camera plus they pro-rated the cost of the insurance and reimbursed me for some of that!
It takes them a while to process the claim and get you the money, but its worth every penny. I also had sent my camera in one time a year earlier to get the screen fixed and they send you a box, packing slip, everything you need.
Sagemax is super easy to use, and a great protection for your equipment. If you're gonna throw down a couple hundred bucks for a camera, you might as well pay a little more to make sure you can use that camera for 3 years! I will buy Sagemax for every camera I ever buy ever again.

I am very suspicious of extended warranties.[...] Sage Max Warranty and Sage Max covers damage due to accidents and moisture damage. This is a whole new ballgame.Since B&H switched to the Sage Max warranty I have sent in two of my underwater point and shoot cameras for damage. They replaced one camera that had damage due to water and they refunded the other camera as it was a discontinued model.I used the refund money to purchase another camera and Sage Max warranty from B&H even though I could find the camera for $50 less from another retailer. The other retailer did not offer the Sage Max warranty.[...]
