- No Lemon Policy
- If your product requires a fourth qualified repair for the same defect, NEW will replace it with a like model at no additional cost to you - or your original purchase price is refunded (including tax).
- In-House Repair Service
- If the original manufacturer warranty covers in-house repair service, NEW will honor the in-house service for the 3-year duration of this plan.

I spent the money for it because I travel with my camera a lot and also use it at conference settings where things may be spilled on it or other things. I think it is worth it.

I realize as I am getting older the chances of inadvertently harming my camera are increasing! I dropped my G10 at the airport as I arrived in Bhutan last year - something I had never done in 40 years of taking photos. So I am thrilled to have protection for my potentially increasing clumsiness....let's hope I never need it though...

This warranty is the one that is in the correct price range for the camera I purchased. At the time of purchasing my camera I was sold a different warranty plan. It took a phone call and then it was never conveyed to me that the warranty was going to be changed. Make sure that the warranty purchased is the correct one for the equipment you have purchased. I hope if I have to make a claim that all my items will be covered.

I decided to use this plan because I purchased my first Leica D-Lux 4 Digital Camera. Since it costs a lot to get the camera fixed (esp. for Leica), I decided to sign up for the warranty. So far, the camera works great, and I feel better just knowing that if something happens to it, I'll have the warranty to rely on.
I just wish that it was cheaper!!
