I am a long time B&H customer. I always purchase these plans for any large ticket items like DSLRs, lenses, printers, etc. I've only had to use it one time, and it was well worth the purchase price.
Some years ago, I bought an Epson 3800 printer from B&H. After 2 years of use, prints began to show "pizza wheel" marks. After getting on the phone with Epson and then the Sage Max people, it was determined that it was not possible to replace any parts. Sage Max, at my request, sent me a check for the full amount of the purchase price, including tax. With it, I was able to purchase a new printer and continue working with very little disruption.
If you purchase any expensive items from B&H, the additional cost of the Sagemax plans are worth every penny.
