I bought my teenage sons their own camcorder's and added the 2-Year SAGEMAX Protection Plan by NEW to each camcorder. Although they are careful they are teenagers so this gives me extra piece of mind. The cost at [$] is ridiculously inexpensive for what you get.

Insurance is peace of mind if you don't need it and wonderful to have if you do. We have never used all the insurance we've purchased but have not always added it to our equipment. Our Slide HD units were to be checked out by students to use so we felt it worthwhile.
