I bought a camera for a friend who cannot afford the nicer things in life. I wanted to make sure that if anything happened to the camera, it would be taken care of. Retail store warranties were no solution because we live on opposite coasts, and we don't have the same stores locally. This warranty solved that problem. We haven't used it yet, so we can't evaluate the service, but I liked that [...] it covers anything, including accidents.

I read about people who bought this warranty. They say that it may take a few months to get your camera fix. When you read about protection plans in general, it would make you worry. But at least when I read reviews about this company they did fix it, it just took a few months.

So far, so good. Thankfully I haven't needed to use this yet, but I bought this for my DSLR and registering it was simple...more or less just a phone call with the serial number of the item purchased is all that's needed.

I bought this for the piece of mind. I know now that if there is any accidental incidences (dropping, spilling, etc.) that I am covered. Having 2 little ones under my feet all the time- this is money well spent. Plus one incident and the cost pays for itself.
