- No Lemon Policy
- If your product requires a fourth qualified repair for the same defect, NEW will replace it with a like model at no additional cost to you - or your original purchase price is refunded (including tax).
- In-House Repair Service
- If the original manufacturer warranty covers in-house repair service, NEW will honor the in-house service for the duration of this protection plan.

Glad to have the insurance plan, but I was disappointed when I called Sagemax to understand more about my account / the plan I had purchased. During multiple frustraiting calls, I told Sagemax I purchased insurance from B&H (receipt in hand) and wanted to confirm that I was registered. They had a very difficult time making sure I was registered, and it would have helped if they understood more of the purchase to insurance confirmation process. For instance, they said I was registered even though they could not find any record of my insurance purchase or camera purchase from B&H, which did not leave me feeling confident. In addition, they would not email me a confirmation of what they guaranteed, and just said to call in the future if I ever had a claim. End of call. I felt most of the representatives I spoke with were poorly trained in how to handle the insurance process. Other than that, they were very friendly.

I got this protection plan for my canon 24-70mm l-series lens. The employee who helped me at the B&H store highly recommended it, and after some thought, it's definitely worth it.For [$] for 3 years, it works out to [$] a year which is NOTHING. The plan protects against literally anything. If the lens breaks, they'll fix it. If they can't fix it, they'll refund you the price of the lens.Absolutely a win-win situation.

I recently purchased a Canon 5D MKII body along with 8-15 EF f4.0L, a 24-70mm f2.8L and a 100-400mm f4.5L lenses. This is a large financial investment and I wanted the extra protection afforded by the SageMax plan. These policies go WAY beyond the factory parts & labor warranty in that they cover accidents, environmental mishaps, etc. A real no-brainer if you're serious about your equipment.

I've never had to actually use one of these protection plans. The peace of mind this gives me on my $1400 lens purchase is well worth the value. I much rather end up buying and not ever taking advantage of this protection plan than to not buy it and find myself with a damaged lens.
