      Comments about NEW 3-Year SAGEMAX Protection Plan:

      I got this plan back in 2009 on my Nikon D90. The beginning of this month, on the fourth, I sent my camera in to their repair facility to be repaired. On the 18th of the month, I call in and find that the camera was received on the 10th and nothing had been done with the camera since. Sagemax had been arguing with the repair company over the repair via email and the repair had been sidetracked. The next day, I find they had finally sorted out their differences and Sagemax had decided not to repair the camera. I call Sagemax again to find that the service department doesn't even know what the status of my camera is. When they find out, I find that my claim has been referred to their claims center and it will take another 3-5 business days before I even know what my options for repair will be. After that point, its going to be 7-10 business days until I get some form of reimbursement. I have already lost money from jobs I have had to decline because I don't have my camera, and I will continue losing more until Sagemax does something about it. Whenever that actually happens... They bill their service as having a 7-10 business day turn around time. I can tell you it has certainly and will certainly be longer than that.
