    Yes there are cheaper batteries but you get what you pay for.

    If you need a spare the first one you should have is from the original manufacturer and this batter is just that.

    Beyond that, it's a battery. It lasts half a day. Without it your camera is worthless.

      Wanted to make sure I had enough battery power for a long trip. What's nice about the Sanyo is that it's battery last a long time, but it is nice to have an extra.
