Giottos Deluxe Large Sandbag 4.4 lb
Giottos Sandbags are made of high-grade, high strength 1680d nylon double jacquard fabric. They have an internal frame, a handle attachment, and a hidden cord that can be tied to the center column of your stand.
This is a two section, saddle-style sandbag. It is shipped empty. Each section, when filled by the user with sand or other material has a 2.2 lbs (1 kg) capacity, for a total of 4.4 lbs (2 kg).
- Waterproof, with hook and loop type fasteners
- When in use they can be connected in series, to add to the total weight.

I purchased two of these bags to create ballast for a table top display to keep the wind from toppling it when we're outdoors. These worked very well. The velcro attached to the display board and the bags looked much better than the traditional canvas-style. These will get only light duty.

This bag is well designed, and seems to be well consructed, too. The long strip which can be wrapped around a light stand pole to keep the bag from sliding down a leg has a velcro flap to keep it out of the way when not in use. The pockets for weight have zippered inserts for sand -- a nice touch. That allows you to vary the weight, or swap out sand for weights, without the messy job of scooping sand out of the bag. I've seen some weight bags which seem rediculously expensive, so I'd say this one is a good deal.
