This protects your 3.5 LCD and makes your camera easy to grip and protects it from falls .... must have.
Only small con is that the silicone slips a little.

I was happy to see that I could get the same sort of form fitting protection that I've enjoyed with my iPod for years. These silicone skins are great idea and I don't know why manufacturers don't just start making more things clad in rubber to begin with. The only problem is that due to the large screen of this camera and the several cut-outs to accomodate ports and doors, the case tends to wiggle around and not stay in place. The plastic screen protector tends to slide around and fall out and the case itself does not fit tightly enough. Buttons are sealed in and protected from both grime and moisture, which is nice, although the power switch now seems prone to turning on accidently in my pocket and the zoom lever is a little difficult to operate through the small access hole. I really want to like this skin because I think it is a great idea, however because of the hole required for the large screen this particular camera just doesn't seem to be well suited to this type of product. If only the skin fit tighter and the inside was a little tacky to keep it from sliding around I think I would be happy with this product, however as it is I only use it occassionaly when I take the camera on a hike or out in the rain. Also beware that with the skin on the camera it no longer fits in the form fitting leather Canon case that is made for this model camera.

Flash opening overlaped the end of the flash and the opening for the display bulges on one side which prevented the supplied display cover to be loose and not held tightly against the display screen allowing scratching and possible loss of the cover. The bulge would allow snagging and cause further stretching of the cover.
