Comments about Sunpak Battery Holder for 522, 544:

These things worked just like the originals for my Sunpak 555s I used in the 90s (I have three and they still work) - no problems at all - great with the new NiMH batteries and I thing they work better than the CL-2

I use two of these holders in my Sunpak 544. It gives me the flexibility to use various types of rechargeable batteries as well as traditional alkaline in emergencies.

Comments about Sunpak Battery Holder for 522, 544:

Have used a quatntun battery pack for many years but there are those times when portability, traveling light and not needing the ability to take hundreds of shots come into play. The battery holder appears the same as the original shipped with the flash.Purchased this as a repacement for a lost unit. It works as expected and greatly reduces the weight being carried around as well as an extra coiled cord.

Comments about Sunpak Battery Holder for 522, 544:

I use this battery holder with my 555 and my 544. It replaced my 20 year old CL-2 battery. It was on it's last leg when I bought this holder as a replacement. I like it so much, I might order another one to setup as a spare!
