Puts an end to the drain on the rechargeable camera battery. Convenient to carry everywhere, tucks easily into camera bag. Great for downloading photos into computer and clearing the card while using a second card to continue taking photos. I am sorry I waited so long to get it.

I bought this card reader because I do a lot of freelance video work for people who shoot footage on different formats. It's small and easy to work with, I didn't have any problems with it. I was originally just going to buy a Memory Stick Pro reader, but this little card reader did it all and for the same price. The only thing that I'm not a big fan of is the short cable. It just hangs in the back of my iMac and it is very annoying to get to.

While this device certainly does what it is supposed to - read memory cards, it is flimsy feeling and the usb connection cable is extremely short. I was sitting in photography class and went to use it on the MAC and the cord is so short it just hangs from the machine. Others had more durable, professional looking card readers and I wish I had chosen one of those.
