use constantly for my sunpak 555. this flash is no longer available which is sad because it is a workhorse of a flash unit. the battery cluster has a strong charge that always seems to last longer then expected. over time and tons of use the battery begins to loose it's full power capabilites. but i'm talking 5+ years of heavy use.

No problems with these batteries. I have a few that are over 6 years old and still power up the strobe with plenty of shots. I can get through a wedding with only one or two batteries for the candid images. Usually in the range of 300 exposures at 1/2 to full power. I'm also not connected to a battery pack on my belt.
