Though I am not thoroughly impressed with the resolution of the DYMO discPainter, it sure does print a lot of discs on one ink cartrige. I haven't had any ink smug or run, and I have printed over 200 discs with out changes in printing quality or changing the ink cartridge.

The overall print quality on a white printable DVD is fair to good. The quality really degrades if the text or graphic is very small. It's nothing like a high-end inkject printer. Nonethless, it does get the job done and customers seem happy with it.
The labels we print are 95% black and white with a very small red logo on the bottom. While the black ink is fine, the red seems to run out very quickly.

Prints well, when you still have ink. The printer QUICKLY runs out of ink and you have to buy yet another cartridge to get anything done.
It's like liquid gold, you pay a ton for it and get very little in return.

We can't trust the Dymo I called the Dymo to get a answer what they are going to do with who bought the DISC PAINTER less then 2 years what would happen if they stop making ink for the disc painter?the answer it was!We are not going to return the money!And I don't think we can't trust them because We never know when they are going to stop making the ink for their products.

Works great, I have made runs of up to 100 disc's about [$] per disc, about 100 disc's cartridge using 600 dpi photo. Colors are crisp, and look just as good as a production house but I can make pro looking disc in just a couple of minutes.

I use this product mainly for printing wedding video DVDs. The quality is very good and I get about 100 full color DVDs printed out of one cartridge. I must say that the customer service DYMO offers is exceptional. I didnt have a warranty on my Disk Painter and they replaced the unit when the motor went out. I was sooo suprised, they were great.

I bought this as a backup ink cartridge for my DYMO disc painter. The original ink is still good, I'm guessing I've printed 50-70 color discs so far with no ink problems. So when it comes time to use this again, it should last awhile for me.
