International Orders*The Hensel Visit MPG 1500 Power Generator is a DC battery inverter that outputs AC voltage to two standard Edison sockets to allow for currently owned AC strobe monolights, power packs and continuous lights to be powered. The Visit MPG 1500 strongly resembles the Hensel Porty DC power pack. As a result of this design kinship, the DC battery drawers are identical and interchangeable between the two units.
This inverter can power one or two different AC devices with a maximum of 300 watts. Power can be distributed to both outlets with AC flash systems that draw up to 500 Joules each. Alternately, the battery can power a 1000 Joule constant draw device, (not peak or burst load like a strobe) in one socket and a strobe that feeds on 500 Joules or less in the other socket. Longevity will vary greatly depending on the device used but an approximation based on a single 500 Joule strobe yields 130 full-power flashes.
There are a number of ways to recharge the lead-gel battery. Using the included 110-240VAC worldwide adapter is one option but there are also two optional DC to DC devices; the cigarette lighter adapter and 12VDC battery adapter with alligator clips.
