      I have used the 622 zoom head for about 5 years and have found it to be flexable in use. It will allow distance pictures as well as wide angle use. Coupled with the 622 base I use the flash on auto setting and my camera on manual. This allows good background lighting and flexability. This flash is very good for sporting events because of the focus power on tele setting.
