It encases the player with a clear interlocking, high-impact shell, partially covered by a black silicone body suit. A film covering the click wheel provides chemical and abrasion protection, while allowing full functionality. The headphone jack, dock connector, and hold button are accessible via silicone plugs. While not waterproof, the slim, sleek Defender will protect against light rain and precipitation.
