This part will convert the 120J (non-TTL version only) foot into a "cold" shoe mount, allowing it to mount directly into a flash bracket's shoe mount. Will still require a sync cord to sync with a camera (household to PC type).

Comments about Sunpak 120J Metal Foot Adapter:
I use it as it SUPPOSED to be used and it is perfect! It is a hot/cold shoe adapter and it serves this purpose well!! It is very strong and I haven't had any trouble with it. If you need a piece that needs to be milled or rigged, go to a machine shop and have them design you one.

Comments about Sunpak 120J Metal Foot Adapter:
I clamped one of these, in a bench vise, and carefully filed it to fit a Wein optical slave.
But now I want to use it on the accessory shoe of the Mamiya left hand grip for an RB67 pro SD. So I must file it a bit more.
However, in it's present state it is too thin for the flash shoe of my Mamiya 7II. And since I also want to use it, on that camera, I will need a second metal foot. As I recall no alteration, of the Sunpak metal foot, is required for the 7II's flash shoe.
So I'm going to order another one, and play switch foot.

Comments about Sunpak 120J Metal Foot Adapter:
The foot is made of black anodized aluminum in roughly a T shape with a hole through the center for the included screw.
The flange that's supposed to fit in my 20D's hotshoe is too thick. I am either going to have it milled by a friend from work or I will file it by hand.
Unfortunately, it's the only game in town.
Maybe it's a message that I shouldn't be using a 120J on camera.
Recommended only to those with metal working skills.
