The SP-250WS from Korg is a high-quality portable digital piano that provides a realistic feel in a fairly small form factor. The piano has 88 weighted hammer-action keys to perfectly emulate the feel of a traditional piano. The piano offers extremely realistic sounds as well, with stereo-sampled sounds that bring out the subtle nuances and details of piano, electric piano, organ, strings, percussion, and more.

For added richness and depth, reverb and chorus effects are provided. You can choose from one of three levels to apply as much or as little of each effect as you need. Built-in stereo speakers provide a rich sound with a full frequency response to accurately express your playing. For proper playing technique, a damper pedal and stand are included, to keep the piano at the right height, and to give you the control over expression that only a pedal can achieve.

The SP-250WS offers terrific connectivity, providing MIDI jacks for connecting to sequencers, synthesizers, or even your computer. Two headphone jacks are provided, perfect for playing private duets or taking lessons without disturbing other members of the household. Other handy features of the piano include a key transpose function, so you can play in tune with a singer, and a metronome to keep yourself in-tempo while practicing.

• Realistic Keyboard: The 88-key RH3 weighted hammer-action keyboard offers differing key weights in each register to recreate the exact feel of a traditional piano.

• Detailed Sounds: High-quality samples of piano, electric piano, organ, strings, percussion, and more provide incredibly realistic, nuanced sounds. If desired, two sounds may be layered together and played simultaneously.

• Built-In Effects: Reverb and chorus effects are built-in to enhance your sound. You can even select a light, normal, or deep level of application to provide the perfect amount for your performance.

• Bass-Reflex Sound System: The built-in bass-reflex stereo speaker system has two 100mm dual-cone speakers and a pair of 11W amplifiers to make sure that every detail of your performance shines through.

• Connectivity: MIDI connectors let you hook up to sequencers, synthesizers, or a computer for greater versatility. Dual headphone jacks make it easy to have private lessons or duets.

• Stand and Pedal Included: The included stand and pedal keep the piano at the perfect playing height and give you precise control over your expression. The piano can be removed from the stand for terrific portability as well.

• Key Transpose: The key transpose feature lets you alter your pitch to perfectly match an accompanying singer.

• Metronome: Keep yourself in-tempo during practice sessions with the built-in metronome. A dedicated slider makes it easy to adjust the tempo.
