It's too small, and the top assembly is made of very cheap light plastic. The legs also have no resistance or friction at all to help keep them in a given position. This should cost about $30 for what it is. It does function well as a stick to hold and aim the recorder, but that's hardly worth [$]

Head couldn't be locked in position. Hopefully an individual defect. Otherwise, solid construction and attractive.

This is made for the DC-1 recorder and fits perfectly in its use enviornment. Good construction, light and sturdy with a damper leg tip to further mute vibrations.
