Manfrotto 3047 Deluxe 3-Way Pan/Tilt Head with Quick Release - Supports 16.50 lb (7.48 kg)
The 3047 is a heavy-duty three way pan & tilt head with absoulte rock-steady stops. Never again will you endure the frustration that comes with having your setup move slightly after tightening the controls. The quick release clamp closes with the strength of a vise grip. The supplied quick release plate has a very grippable surface that discourages loss of friction, but if your shooting needs include heavy setups in the vertical position (such as a 35mm body with motor drive and fast portrait lens attached) it would be recommended to get the anti-twist quick release plate as well.
