The Intelix AVO-V3PT-F Video and Infrared Remote CAT-5 Balun is designed to send or receive video and IR remote signals up to 500 feet via standard structured cabling, such as CAT-5 cable. The AVO-V3PT-F features RCA connectors for connecting high-definition video gear and passing video signals in both directions. Two spring tension connectors enable remote IR (infrared) remote devices to be connected.
Two baluns are necessary for conventional operation. The first balun sends a signal from the connected source while the second balun provides the output connectors to the video system. The AVO-V3PT-F is an ideal solution for complex video distribution and remote control operation in schools, retail stores, houses-of-worship, restaurants, bars, etc.
- Infrared Remote Operation
- Two spring-tension connectors enable a remote receiver to be connected for remote control operation over long, complex wiring scenarios.
- Composite Video Connection
- RCA connectors send and receive video signals from cable receiver boxes, monitors, DVD players and other video sources over structured, twisted-pair cable.
