The 8101 MP3 Player/Recorder from Califone is ideal for use in schools especially in language learning, ELL and ELD applications. With 512MB of flash memory and a slot for SD cards, the 8101 can playback MP3, WMA, WAV, DRM (WMA-DRM9 version) files and records into APDCM (WAV) format from its internal microphone. The 8101 also has a safety feature which limits maximum playback volume to 85dB as recommended by the American Speech and Hearing Association. Its external casing is made from rugged ABS plastic and has plugs for 2 headphones. You can charge the 8101 via USB plug via DC plug.
