I bought the Interfit 5 in 1 reflector arm and stand kit...WHAT A SUPER DEAL...the stand is nice, the reflector and case appear to be high quality..AND you get an arm that is identical to the Westcott illuminator Arm, IMHO, the best reflector arm design available. It has the super double ball joint and solid steel mounting cup that allows the reflector held by the Westcott-style arm to be positioned infinitely with one turn of the lever.Check the price on the Westcott arm, and now look at this kit.At the price of the Interfit, compared to the Westcott Illuminator alone, it is like getting the reflector for free. The reflector itself is great. The stand is ok and opens wide. But the arm/bracket is designed without consideration for the laws of gravity. A clip 1/2 inch wide on each side of a 42" circle cannot be used in a non vertical position for more than a few seconds. The weight of the reflector is too great for the clips to maintain it at an angle. It slides back. We tried indoors after believing it was due to wind. Not working either. I should have bought the reflector alone, the stand is useless.

Comments about Interfit Five-in-One 42" Reflector and Arm Kit with Stand:
You get 4 big reflectors and a diffuser together with a 4 sections air cushioned stand and a boom arm for a really affordable price. Reflectors are perfect. You have all you need to control the light. They are easy and quick to use and folds up easily.
But stand is unusable without at least one sandbag. Even extended only a few inches and with the boom extended to his minimum, weight of the reflectors will make everything unstable. If you extend totally 2 or more sections of the stand it starts to take a worrisome curve and if you extend totally the boom arm at least 2 sandbags will be needed. Definitively only for indoor use. Using outdoor only with an assistant and no wind. The plastic clips holding the reflectors are flimsy. One of the sidepieces needed to pull up the clip broke at the first use.
But I insist. It's a great product for the money and with a sandbag it will get the job done.

Comments about Interfit Five-in-One 42" Reflector and Arm Kit with Stand:
I gave two stars because of the reflectors only. The stand is not strong enough to hold the reflectors. I am using the reflectors without the stands and I feel I wasted money buying everything.
Also, there's no manual teaching how to put that stand together.

Comments about Interfit Five-in-One 42" Reflector and Arm Kit with Stand:
This kit is well worth the price. The 5-in-1 reflector does a great job, but the real reason I got it was the stand. It is very sturdy and allow me to set it up at all different heights and angles. The best part is, that the base of the stand is just a light stand, so if you remove the boom arm, you can use it to support light and umbrellas as well (with the right clamp attachments of course). Overall a good buy. Oh, if you plan to use it outside, definitely make sure you have a sandbag or two to stabilize it. The reflector is light, but the wind will certainly push it around withe reflector attached.

Comments about Interfit Five-in-One 42" Reflector and Arm Kit with Stand:
I love this reflector! I did a bunch of backlit photos this weekend and was amazed at the difference it made in bringing light into the subjects face. It's big, but that's what I like about it. I bent it like a "U" and the light wrapped around the subjects face. I shot with a friend so we took turns holding it. We also used it to diffuse light and it worked well. Because we were walking fairly quickly from shot to shot, I left the stand at home. I'm very pleased with my purchase!

Comments about Interfit Five-in-One 42" Reflector and Arm Kit with Stand:
This reflector is great. The zip on gold and black cover goes on and off easily. Its not so easy to get the reflector onto the stand/arm, which makes it difficult if you need it on and then off the stand a lot. But its doable. All in all, a good deal.

Comments about Interfit Five-in-One 42" Reflector and Arm Kit with Stand:
I previously had ordered the 5-in-1 kit without the stand portion. This kit, unfortunately, had been updated and did not include the soft sun portion in the reflector. I upgraded to this product and the soft sun shade was included in the 5.

Comments about Interfit Five-in-One 42" Reflector and Arm Kit with Stand:
reflector alone are great and easy to transport - love the versatility of the zip on a different reflector surfaces
better used with assitant holding reflectors overall than on stand
Any wind during outdoor shoots makes it hard to use on the stand despite using a sandbag weight. Stand is not well suited for uneven ground either.

Comments about Interfit Five-in-One 42" Reflector and Arm Kit with Stand:
Will be very useful as I almost always shoot alone and don't have anyone to hold reflectors for me. Everything is very good quality, a little heavier that I anticipated though. Some reviewers mentioned that the stand and/or arm were not strong enough to hold the reflector. I have not had that problem and see no way that could be an issue.

Comments about Interfit Five-in-One 42" Reflector and Arm Kit with Stand:
I use the reflector for professional 7D photo and video, in-house at a professional firm.
It's amazing to find a 5-in-1 that has soft-sun instead of gold, because I've never used the gold side before in my work. It's always too warm for my style while silver is too cold. This soft sun is natural and my new best friend.
I agree with the other reviewers, the stand, while sturdy enough, needs to be bagged, or else it could easily tip over.

Comments about Interfit Five-in-One 42" Reflector and Arm Kit with Stand:
Very nice reflector. Folds with ease to a manageable size, and the stand and boom arm are decently built. I don't recommend using this outside unless you have ALOT of weight or an assistant to steady it from blowing over.

Comments about Interfit Five-in-One 42" Reflector and Arm Kit with Stand:
This is great for bouncing ambient light, and the difusser is great for outdoor shots in direct light, or use the gold side for bounce light in shade. Easy to set up, although the stand will require some weight in outdoor situations due to the size of the reflector catching wind.

Comments about Interfit Five-in-One 42" Reflector and Arm Kit with Stand:
It feels just a bit flimsy, but for the price, it's pretty sweet. You get a really big reflector and diffuser and with a big arm to hold it. It's super versatile and a lightweight solution and cost much less than an assistant! :)
Loving the fact that I can just put this thing up quickly and automatically diffuse my light source without an additional softbox or umbrella or whatever. I'll probably buy another just to use for that.

I've used this a couple of times and it seems to be a great reflector/stand kit. Easy set up and good quality. I would recommend getting a sandbag to hold it or it will tip over.

This was really useful and easy to pop open and change reflectors. The stand is a little difficult to angle easily and it falls over if you don't use a sandbag or weight, but overall definitely worth it!

Comments about Interfit Five-in-One 42" Reflector and Arm Kit with Stand:
The reflector and arm kit is a must for photography shoots. The 42" reflector is big and easy to use. The stand and arm are strong and well built. The only thing I would recomend is that when you buy this product go ahead and by a sand bag for it as well. The reflector handging off to the side makes it top heavy and it does not take much for it to want to tip over.

Comments about Interfit Five-in-One 42" Reflector and Arm Kit with Stand:
I bought this just prior to a photo gig for a dance. Let me tell you, it was a great product to have. The fact that you can move the arm with the reflector is incredibly handy! Also, it is very easy to change out the relfector surface.
Overall, it is a great product for the money. However, I found that the overall build quality is less than superb. I say this because not only is the arm pivot point made out of a cheap-feeling plastic, but the tripod base is not proportional to the weight of the arm and reflector. If you plan to use it outside with even the most mild wind, you have to put atleast three bricks on it to keep from falling over. However, I realize you get what you pay for so that is why I rate it 4-of-5. Great for beginners.
