This thing is a titan. I have it at like a "2"...and yet it continuously threatens to tear my house down.
No feedback, it doesn't get wobbly or give up on deep bass. Movies are perfect, music is good (not great...although it depends what type of music).

I have a 7.1 surround sound system and this is my second infinity sub I will be installing.(now 7.2 surround system) I hook up surround sound systems for all of my friends and this is one of the better subs. I have used jbl subs, polk subs, klipsch subs, sony, pioneeer etc. as long as you stick with a good brand you should be pleased.

Comments about Infinity PS212 12" Powered Subwoofer (Black):
Home Theater Concert sound I have 4 of these along with 4 JBL4310 subs.
The unit looks very well built. The plate amplifer unit has a design flaw that appears several months after daily use. Speaker smokes after several months of usage. Lower max gain each time to help prevent smoking speaker. (Replaced 3 speakers)Lowered max gain less than half & finally no power to amp, fuse blown and output board blown, (black fused burnt spot on board). Being a low frequency freak I wouldn't recommend.

Comments about Infinity PS212 12" Powered Subwoofer (Black):
I have 6 Infinity bookshelf speakers in my room and when I added this sub about 4 months ago I was very impressed how much it rounded out the sound of my music. I have it powered down to about half and it pumps out low tones and makes every explosion in movies come alive. I've always been a proud buyer of Infinity and I'm glad to say that haven't let me down!

[$] It is constructed very well and sounds GREAT!! The gain does not need to be turned up much at all to get a lot of sound so be careful when setting the gain, it ships all the way up. Mine blended nicely with my system turned up only 1/3. My only concern is reliability I have and still do own several HK subwoofers (JBL, Infinity) and have had problems with the electronics in almost all of them. HK has a good warranty 5 years on loud speaker and 3 on electronics so they have always fixed them for me just be sure to keep your receipt.
