This system includes four (2-way) satellite speakers, that reproduces clear surround sound special effects; one (2-way, dual-driver) center speaker, which reproduces dedicated dialog tracks; and a powerful 150W RMS/300W peak power subwoofer. If you want a unified, stylish, and easy-to-set-up home theater speaker system, look no further than the Infinity TSS-800. In one box, you get everything you need to treat yourself to earth moving, high-end surround sound.
- Metal Matrix Diaphragm (MMD)
- The low-frequency and high-frequency drivers incorporate Infinity's MMD technology. MMD consists of a stiff aluminum core, anodized on both sides for superior rigidity and strength. It is 3 times as rigid as titanium, and 85 times more rigid than felted paper. This unique design is capable of eliminating unwanted tonal resonances in the signal path. The end result is a full, clear, tight reproduction of low and high frequencies.
- Exceptional Surround Sound
- With a frequency response of 120 Hz - 20 KHz, the satellites and center speakers are capable of reproducing a full sound range from deep bass tones to ultra-high frequencies. The dynamic range is so well balanced and matched that the center, front and rear channels blend seamlessly.
- Premium Quality Subwoofer
- With its superior bass reproduction, the 10" (150W RMS/300W peak) powered subwoofer is capable of handling all the punches. Several features include: subwoofer level control, LFE, line level and speaker level inputs.
- Phase Control Switch
- The Phase Switch determines whether the subwoofer speaker's piston-like action moves in and out with the main speakers. Proper phase adjustment depends on several variables such as room size, subwoofer placement and listener position. Adjust the phase switch to maximize bass output at the listening position.
- 2-Way Speaker Design
- Due to its 2-way speaker design and quality cabinetry, this speaker reproduces a full-range of frequencies and lifelike imaging.

I've had this system for a month; using it with a Harman/Kardon AVR 254. Very good for an all-in-one system. Very clear and sharp treble response; the subwoofer has more than enough power (unless you are running a large home theater). The enclosures are well-built and very attractive.
The center channel does seem to be a bit overwhelmed; the midrange sounds a bit narrow and muddy. But that can be easily upgraded. I would definitely recommend this setup to an entry-level user up to the lower end of audiophile users.
