Sony Circular Polarizer - Light rays, which are reflected, become polarized. Polarizing filters are used to select which light rays enter your camera lens. They can remove unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water or glass and also saturate colors providing better contrast.
The effect can be seen through the viewfinder and changed by rotating the filter. The filter factor varies according to how the filter is rotated and its orientation to the sun.
Note! Circular polarizers are specifically designed for use with auto-focus SLR cameras. (They will also work on manual systems and video cameras without problems.)

Weddings - Outdoor - Personal Everyday
I live in SC and I have been taking pictures for over 30 years. I now own and shoot with two Sony A350's. I wanted to see for myself what all the talk was about Polarizing Glass Filters
Going in I wasn't sure what was the best bet for what I was looking for. I saw these filters priced from a little to a lot. I spend lots of time outside shooting around the water. I wanted to bring the blues out in the sky and take the glare off the water.
So I ordered it: 55mm Circular Polarizing Glass Filter
Day one, I put this 55mm Circular Polarizing Glass Filter by Sony on one of my lens out by our pool. I could not believe the difference. It's so easy to use. You can adjust the filter to get it perfect! It's so natural looking and everyone will wonder how you got such a rich shot!
Next, I took it on a wedding shoot, we shot by the water and I was blown away by the results. I know the Bride was just as pleased!
This is keeper, you won't send it back.
I hope my review helps? I really look at what others say about products on this site.
Can't wait to hear what you have to say? My hope is that you are just as pleased!
I give the 55mm Circular Polarizing Glass Filter by Sony 5-Stars
