I got this product to be able to use WMC as a DVR with my cable companies digital converter and I am not able to do that.
The product seems well made and would possibly work well except for two things:
1. Inadequate documentation. Physical installation is no problem but how to set it up with Windows Media Center is completely UN-documented.
2. Windows Media Center. Apparently, WMC is supposed to include everything needed to use this remote. And I think it does. It just does so poorly. I cannot get the IR blaster timed to correctly work with my Cable company digital converter box. At this point, the remote and the IR blaster are useless to me for recording or watching live TV via WMC. I CAN use the remote to control WMC for music or videos and that is nice but that's not what I bought this product for.

It works pretty well. WIndows 7, 64Bit sees it OK. I did have some issues getting it setup with Comcast DTA.

It works great in Media Center, but lacks any documentation. Would definitely recommend this product to others, and B&H to anyone looking for A/V products.

i use this product for windows media center on my home media center computer, it works perfectly, the IR receiver picks up the remote from anywhere in the living room, no fussing with having to lift your arm up high in the air. the only problem i had with it were the stock battery's that came with it which died in only 2 days, i put new batterys in and its been working just fine ever sense

Comments about Pinnacle Remote Control Kit for Windows Media Center:
Remote works fine for just about everything I need it to do. It is listed in the Harmony database, so it works great with those.
The only complaint I have is that the frequency for the Green Button is the same as the one to turn on my Xbox 360.
It would also be nice if there was a way to input text via the remote, even if it was just a shortcut to the onscreen keyboard or something.

Comments about Pinnacle Remote Control Kit for Windows Media Center:
The remote works fine for controlling Media Center, but Media Center can't find the IR Blaster. The only reason I bought this was to allow Media Center to control the cable box. If you are looking for support from Pinnacle, forget it. Pinnacle sold the PCTV line to Hauppauge and there is nothing on either site regarding this kit.

Had to get drivers for Windows XP, not found on MFG site. Once drivers were loaded seems to work fine.
