Comments about Chestnut Hill Sound George Digital Music System for the iPod:
I am using the George Music System with my iPod Touch 4th generation. The sound for this system is excellent. It sounds like a big stero! It says it charges the iPod but it has not charged mine after a week of playing. I am not sure why. Set up is easy and controls are top notch. I think there should be a user manual that tells more about the system. I do not see an "on" "off" switch anywhere. The remote does not fit well in the cradle. Besides all of that, it is a very good sound system.

Comments about Chestnut Hill Sound George Digital Music System for the iPod:
We were looking for a cheap and easy way of playing music from our ipods and laptops remotely, and the George has given us exactly what we're looking for in a small, sleek package. The detachable interface allows us to browse our ipods from bed, and we've been very impressed with the sound quality, especially the powerful bass. The primary complaint so far is that the docking station that powers the remote control is a bit flimsy--the remote falls out of it easily, and we find we have to adjust it often in order to power the remote.

Comments about Chestnut Hill Sound George Digital Music System for the iPod:
This is a great bookshelf system; the best iPod dock on the market in terms of sound quality and ease of use. The sound is better than most other docks I've tested, but the best part about this system is the remote control, which lets you control every function on your iPod from across the room. You literally never have to touch the iPod once it's docked, which means you can put the system anywhere. If you want amazing sound you don't want a dock anyway; if you want decent sound, compact size and convenience this is the product for you!

Comments about Chestnut Hill Sound George Digital Music System for the iPod:
This is the third docking ipod player I have purchased. I have the Bose Sounddock and a portable Harmon Karmen. The George is great. The remote is the best feature of all. It is so nice to have it in its separate docking station across the room from the actual unit. The fact that the screen shows the same as an ipod screen makes it much more versatile to use. The sound from the George is very good. The digital radio and alarms make this an excellent replacement for a bedside clock. The set up online took a few minutes but was pretty easy to do. I highly recommend this product and B & H. [...]

Comments about Chestnut Hill Sound George Digital Music System for the iPod:
I looked at the Bose system and everything else out there for docking my iPod. The bit that drove me nuts was not being able to see what I was selecting or being able to navigate my iPod. My wife also wanted to be able to listed to the radio. The George was the best of all worlds, not to mention the great sound. I would have given it 5 stars if they would have offered the George with the wood side panels and different grill options when ordering the initial unit. The all over white and body with silver grills are fine, but I purchased the Walnut upgrade kit which makes it look much more high-end. Would have been nice having this all at one time in one package. Oh, and when the battery connection wasn't happening on the remote properly, someone from George called me (during Xmas time) to correct the problem. Cool system, great options and you can't beat the remote with any other system at the moment.

Comments about Chestnut Hill Sound George Digital Music System for the iPod:
What I like is the clear and well-balanced sound. It is fantastic. The remote and the way the music can be shuffle around with the Ipod is also fantastic. However, what I don't like is the not-too-fantastic design. It is just too plain. Also, it is too heavy and bulky too travel with. In addtion, the remote should last more time on your hands before it has to be recharged.
