Comments about Kingston Mobile Lite 9-in-1 Card Reader:
If you have a bunch of memory cards this tool turns them into a USB thumb drive. I use it to transfer photos off of my camera's memory cards.
You plug the card into the adapter and then plug the adapter into the computer. It's really quite simple to use.
It's great that it's very simple and has nice covers that keep the cards safe and clean.
The only problem is that the drive is HUGE compared to a normal thumb drive, but it does come with a handy short USB cable to plug it into tight spaces.

Comments about Kingston Mobile Lite 9-in-1 Card Reader:
I bought this product for my mom because it is easy to carry in a tiny camera bag and provides a maximum number of options. I have used other Kinston products and I expect this one will stand up as well as those.

Comments about Kingston Mobile Lite 9-in-1 Card Reader:
Priced right, utterly simple to use, works perfectly with both PC and Mac, just enough cable provided - and you can substitute a longer one if needed - and supports all the formats I need, i.e., SD, mini-SD, micro-SD.
Superior in design to and less expensive than similar products I've seen elsewhere.

I used to have to plug in the camera to download pictures, now I use this. It is also great to move music to the smaller micro SD cards for phones and MP3 players. This is a must have.

This is a quick and easy card reader that does exactly as advertised. Super lightweight that I keep in my camera bag. If you use any type of P&S camera along with your SLRs, this would be a nice little reader for your SD card needs.

Comments about Kingston Mobile Lite 9-in-1 Card Reader:
Great. You can sum three differents cards format: sdhc, mini-sdhc, micro-sdhc to achieve a big storage. Ex: 16GB SDHC, 8GB mini-SDHC, 8GB micro-SDHC to form a 32GB solid state drive. All cards are recognized as a separate drive in the same reader.

Comments about Kingston Mobile Lite 9-in-1 Card Reader:
I have a Lexar multicard reader that reportedly reads SDHC. Well, not the SDHC cards I have. So, off I go to find a reader that actually reads SDHC. Here it is: inexpensive, compact, and does the job.

Comments about Kingston Mobile Lite 9-in-1 Card Reader:
I bought this card reader for [$]. I have an old multi card reader, but had to upgrade for the ability to read SDHC cards. The price is great, and file transfer speeds seem nice and fast. I like that this card reader can be used as a keychain drive as the card is protected inside, and not sticking out. It comes with a little leash to keep the USP cover attached, but either they designed it wrong, or I'm attaching it wrong because when installed, it's hard to put the cap on, so I took it back off and just hope I don't lose the cap.I wish that they made a version for just SD sized cards as I never use the mini or micro versions, and not having those slots would make this a little more portable. Not that it's huge, it's just a little on the chunky side for a keychain.

I have tried many card readers. I don't buy memory sticks, instead I buy SD flash Cards and put them in card readers. This allows me to use the Flash Cards for many purposes.

Comments about Kingston Mobile Lite 9-in-1 Card Reader:
Used this card reader for my collection of SD cards. I use as a thumb drive in which I can swap the memory cards out.
Advantages - accepts a myriad of cards (the 9-in-1 part). I used it just for standard SD cards. Flashing green light during card access. INEXPENSIVE.
Disadvantages - construction may not hold up to rough use. Flip out doors look like they could snap off easily. The cap protecting the USB interface is not attached and therefore easily lose-able.
Unrelated note: I intended it as a way of off-loading the pictures from my camera SD cards. Some cameras (like Nikon and Casio) format the SD cards that they use so the JPGs don't show up if the card is removed from the camera and put into a reader. The cameras have to the tethered to the computer and then they show up as USB Mass Storage Devices.
Recommendation - use as a thumb drive for the SD cards that you have stopped using in your cameras. Fine for file storage/ transport/ transfer.

Comments about Kingston Mobile Lite 9-in-1 Card Reader:
An incredible product, at an unbeatable price! Not only does this support SDHC cards (capacities up to 32 GB!), but this card reader makes a great USB stick! It's better than a USB stick, because if a USB stick breaks, you need to replace the whole device. If this breaks, you still have your data stored on the removable memory card - you only need to replace the inexpensive card reader. With a USB stick, upgrading it means replacing the whole device. If you are using this Card Reader, you only need to purchase a 2nd memory card, or you can buy a bigger one. You can also swap them back and forth, if you want. Your new memory card could also be a different format, as this card reader can have an SDHC, miniSDHC and microSDHC in use simultaneously, which come up as three separate drives on your PC - that's a potential of 96 GB of memory on this baby (32 GB per card, * 3 cards)! The included USB extension cable means you'll have no problems plugging it into even the most crowded USB ports. I love this thing!

The card reader works great!! The card reader in my pc would not read SDHC over 4gb. I don't have that problem anymore with the Kingston reader.
