The iAXE629 from Behringer is not only an electric guitar that can be used with standard guitar amplifiers in a traditional way - it can also be connected via USB to your Mac or PC for recording straight to your hard drive. The guitar has a maple neck, two single-coil pickups, a dual-coil "humbucker" pickup, as well as a five-way switcher for tone control. A tremolo arm (whammy bar) is also included for temporary pitch adjustments.
The iAXE629 includes the Guitar Combos Behringer Edition software from Native Instruments, which includes recording and editing capability, along with virtual amps, stomp boxes, and three classic guitar combos. Tape deck and metronome features let you play along with your favorite songs. A built-in headphone jack makes private jam sessions even easier. Perfect for the beginning guitarist or budding songwriter, the iAXE629 is a great choice for live playing or recording.
