The 1.5 TB 2big Dual Interface External Hard Drive from LaCie is a high-capacity external RAID solution. The drive features dual swappable disks, each with 7200 rpm speed and a 32 MB data buffer. It can be connected to a computer via eSATA or USB 2.0.

The array can be configured in several configurations, including RAID 0 for maximum performance, RAID 1 for data mirroring, concatenation mode for maximum storage capacity, or as JBOD for individual volume access. The eSATA connection delivers burst data transfer rates of up to 115 MB/sec, while USB 2.0 offers 30 MB/sec transfers. These features and more make the array a great solution for your large data storage needs.

The array can be connected to a computer via eSATA or USB 2.0. This allows you to use it with almost any modern computer.

• RAID Flexibility

The array can be configured as a RAID 0, which delivers maximum performance or as RAID 1 for data mirroring, protecting your data in case of a drive failure.
