Just received this in the mail and started loading my three cameras--yes, three--in this bag. Love the red color first of all. It's not a flashy bright cherry red. It's a nice dull red that doesn't stand out, but still blends well with the black. What the other reviews have said are true, there is not much room for adjustment, and the removable pads only do so much. However, I was able to fit my Canon 7D with attached 85mm 1.8, Leica M8.2 w/ attached Voigtlander 50mm f/1.1 (laid face up), and 35mm Summicron. I also have a Leica X1 in the zippered pouch. I removed a couple of the pads around and there is room for all of that! I think I can also fit another lens in the bag if needed.
If I had not gotten this bag I always have to choose which of those three cameras I can take, and one always had to stay around my neck in order to travel as light as possible on short trips or risk achy back syndrome with a bigger bag. Not to mention no other protection in my other bags.
I love this backpack so far. Now, there is not much room for anything else: flash, mini tripod, pocket foreign dictionary, bottle of water, any other items I usually travel with when I photograph unless I keep a camera in my hand/around my neck at all times and then I can put only one of the above items in the bag. The outer "water bottle pocket" is very tight (even with nothing in the bag at all), so it would only fit maybe a small 250ml bottle. If I used the other zippered pocket to put the water bottle, then that leaves the entire pocket open for items to fall out...cash, credit cards, tickets, etc.
Also the very top of the bag is extremely stiff. I wish it were more flexible--less like a box, just to give it some breathing room on my back. The zipper does not go all the way down, true, but I have put the lens in cases at the bottom so it's easy to reach in and retrieve, and I know which ones are which. However, it would be nice for a size opening or if the zipper went all the way down. But my system works, and I know that I'm the only one who can get access to my equipment.
None of these take away from me giving it five stars however. It fits three cameras, three lens, and maybe room for one more...I love it.
This is only after a few hours of walking around and trying out the bag. After my trip, if there's more to add, I'll change, but I know I'll love this bag. It's perfect!

I think this is a great bag for those who are beginning in photography like me. Its gives you some comfort in the fact that the only way to get to your expensive camera, is through the back of the bag, which is great. It has enough room for your first equipment, or for those who want to travel light. There were a few things that I didn't like, like the zippers sang too much, especially the accessory pocket on the side of the bag. This pocket has a mesh inside that keeps getting caught. But apart from that there's nothing else wrong with the bag in my opinion. Its a bag that I'll use for a very long time.

Use for hiking and recreational outdoor photography. I spent several weeks looking for a pack type bag capable of holding my tripod with little success until I found a Lowepro at a camera store. The one they had was way too big but the websites had a size that was perfect. I keep it loaded to grab everything I neeed when I go. It unloads quickly and is back on my back quickly allowing me to be ready to shoot.

the flipside back pack is very secure with the zippers aganst your back a thief cant unzip your bag and spill its contents on the ground, this feature does make it a little slower to access gear, security takes presidence over speed .this is a typical lowepro product very high quality ,my other lowepro bag from the 90s is still in great shape.

Light and well constructed, this is bag is perfect for smaller cameras (most APS-C cameras). Would have rated it 5 star if the outside pockets were larger and the inside divider were a bit more flexible.

This bag is great. I have plenty of room for everything I need. Memory cards, tripod, cleaning tools, and even all 3 of my lenses...plus there's room for more! I felt so cramped with my last camera bag. This one is easier to carry and very strong!

Comments about Lowepro Flipside 200 Backpack (Red/Black):
I like the sturdiness of this bag and the protection it provides the lens and camera; however, I wish that the zipper would go all the way down and provide easier access to all of the equipment...for now I put the lens that I'm least likely to use at any given moment in the lowest slot. I can fit a Canon T2i camera, 50mm, 10-22mm wide-angle, 70-200mm telephoto zoom and probably another lens. It depends on how many accessories you have and how you're using the pouch inside the bag.
I think if the outside pockets were a little roomier, they would be more useful. The zipper on the side pocket is also difficult to unzip because of the mesh pocket inside - so it's not my frequent-use pocket.
However, the bag's construction (main compartment zipper in the back) is definitely good for travel in pickpocket-prone areas; and it's sturdy enough for me not to have to worry about the important things - the protection of the camera and lens during storage and transport.

A great little backpack for all my camera gear. Light, secure and impossible for a pickpocket to get into if it's on my back. Bonus feature - you cannot slouch when you wear it, so perfect posture for an 8 hour on-location shoot.

Love this bag. It's just big enough to hold a camera and lens plus an additional two lenses with hoods and accessories. Keeps everything compact and safe. The bag is light and wears great. It also has just the right compartments for my other stuff. If you're looking for a bag to hold non-camera items like clothing, large wallets, etc. this may not be the bag. this is for camera carrying and getting around and is perfect.

I was really happy with my purchase. Its slim and lightweight, comfortable, and holds my camera gear. I had a little problem fitting my Gary Fong Diffuser but after a little manuevering I got it to fit thanks to the velcro detachable dividers. I love the fact that it opens from the back so I don't have to worry about theft. Its also made from a great sturdy material that will last me years to come. I would definitely recommend this product.

It is a nice camera bag with a good qaulity. But the size is too small, a more like a baby bag. I returned it back to B&H. After some reserch, I ordered Lowepro fastpack 200, which is bigger and more functional than the flipside 200. The build quality is good and that is why I go with Lowepro brand.

This bag is a nice compact. light bag. The construction is very sturdy and I feel that my camera and gear is well protected.
It is a nice size for someone who hasn't accumalated a lot of equipment yet. It's compact size will also be an advantage for those trips to the baseball field and hockey arena.
The side pocket is a little small and won't hold much.
