While the components of the CM-02 are interesting to look at, their form has an intended function. The five stylish weights on the underside of its clear acrylic platter ensure a balanced rotational spin for optimal speed and sound quality. An internal preamp is provided so you can plug the CM-02 into a sound system that lacks a dedicated record player input. It also features a USB output (Mac and Windows compatible) that will enable you to easily transfer your vinyl records into a computer.

The CM-02 does not come with a dust cover or with a needle cartridge. It's capable of playing 33, 45, and 78 RPM vinyl records. It features a high-quality integrated RIAA equalizer. The CM-02 features a belt drive to spin its 5mm thick platter.
