Why it took so long for someone to invent a stand like this is beyond me. WHile it may have been available for a while, I just bought one. Super versatile and sturdy and I no longer have to fight to release the locking mechanism. A simply latch-pull at the top of the stand allows for easy setup.

I am a professional musician who puts a lot of demands on my gear. Yamaha YKA7500 X-Style Keyboard Stand with the YKT7500 2nd Tier is a product that meets my demands at an affordable price. I have had stands in the past that have cost more and not stood the test of time. My keyboards are important to me and I needed a stand under them that allows for practice and stage performance, this stand does that. It is easy to assemble and adjusts to many different heights for both sitting and standing. You can't go wrong with this product in my view.
