The XtremeTV HDTV110 External USB 2.0 TV Tuner from Diamond allows you to receive over-the-air HDTV broadcasts right onto your desktop. The tuner features an external USB interface in a compact form factor. It also supports standard definition broadcast and cable television signals, making it an extremely versatile solution. The tuner allows you to watch, record, and playback recorded video, making it an excellent addition to your Media Center PC or notebook.
- HDTV Tuner
- This USB tuner adds an HDTV tuner to your computer, letting you take full advantage of the high-quality format. Network HDTV broadcasts are available over the air for free in most areas. In many cases, all you'll have to do is connect the HDTV antenna to the card to receive the signal.
- PVR Functionality
- The tuner is compatible with the Windows Media Center software found in Windows XP MCE and Windows Vista Home Premium. It supports EPG (Electronic Program Guide), time shift, scheduled recording, pause, and other standard features of Windows MCE.
- Analog Video Capture
- In addition to tuning, the XtremeTV acts as an analog capture device. It features a cable to capture video from analog sources. It features input connections for S-Video, RCA composite, and stereo audio.
