The Bebob Engineering LULED-CGA is an on camera lighting kit featuring the LUX-LED-DV light housing. This kit offers the focusable LED light housing with two-leaf barndoors and a power adapter with Panasonic HVX-200 and DVX-100A camera connectivity.
- LED
- An arrangement of five LEDs allows focusing from 40° to 60° with dimming of a daylight color temperature illumination. LEDs can generate more illumination at lower power consumption in comparison with a light such as the Lux-dv.
- Barndoors
- This kit comes with two-leaf barndoors for extra control over the light source.
- Panasonic Power Adapter
- The Panasonic power adapter allows this system to be powered by a Panasonic HVX-200 and DVX-100A batteries on camera.

I have to agree with the previous commenter, the battery attachment for the Panasonic is not only flimsy, it's mystifying! After struggling to understand how it hooked up, I attempted to find some documentation online (none was delivered with the device itself) and found nothing. Then I e-mailed Bebob and never got a response. To this day, I'm confused about how it hooks up.
The light output is weak and is best used in situations where there's a pretty good amount of light, but you just need a little extra to brighten up people's eye sockets. I just shot with it at an outdoor party at night and it did not give nearly enough light. And somehow, my subjects still looked like they had a spot light shining in their faces.
Another gripe I have about this light is the fact that the warming filter and regular filter don't fit on the barn door at the same time. This means that I have to anticipate the lighting conditions before I head into a certain environment or risk having to take out my screwdriver. It would be so much easier if I could just flip that warming filter on or off.
Overall, I'm really disappointed in this product.

I bought this light based on a lot of research but I have been very disappointed with it. The adaptor for the Panasonic HVX-200 is not adequate. It comes loose easily. If you are running and gunning, you will need to figure out a better way to attach this light. The wattage is very low so you'll need to stand very close to get any kind of kick on your subject.
Low wattage and a poor adaptor plus a high price tag makes this light pale in comparison to the new Lite Panel on camera LEDs.
