The Logitech V470 bluetooth mouse works *great* in an office environment. I program by day, so you can see that I use my PC all day long. As mentioned in other reviews, it lags a bit. This is *not noticeable* unless you are playing games (which I do not). The mouse does what it should. The only reason that I ding this thing one star is that I have other mice that fit my hand a little better - I was hoping for a man-sized mouse. This is really just a *large* notebook mouse. It IS physically larger than the Microsoft bluetooth 5000 mouse -- that mouse is too small for my taste. I have not burned through the first set of batteries (included!) after 9 days, so do not know how long they last. I turn my mouse off at night.

The idea of not taking up any additional USB ports was the thing that drew me to buy this mouse. However, the connection was finicky. The mouse wouldn't connect without first adding a new Bluetooth device...everytime. I'll stick with the tried and true RF mice for a bit longer.

This is a good general use mouse which feels nice in my hand. It looks great too, what a shame that it is absolutely unbearable for gaming! If I move the mouse too quickly the pointer freaks out and ends up in a random place on the screen. If I'm playing a game and try to spin around quickly or aim at someone too fast I will end up facing some random direction and getting killed. The only way to use this mouse is to move it slowly and be gentle with it. Definitely not recommended for anyone who jerks it around, otherwise, nice mouse. I ended up RMA'ing it for an MX Anywhere which hopefully won't have the same issue.

I bought this mouse for my laptop. these are some of the things I like about it.
1. It doesn't have to occupy a USB port.
2. It connects automatically with my laptop.
3. Fits my palm nicely.
4. Nice color(blue)
5. Connects even from a few feet distance

What I don't like?

IDK Maybe battery life?

Really nice. I had a microsoft 5000 notebook mouse and it really was hard to use. Too jerky for me. The logitech mouse is much smoother. It had a few instances of being jerky but it was easy to adjust the scrolling and speed and it smoothed right out. Great product

I've been using this mouse to replace the tracking pad on my laptop.
It is great, takes just a couple seconds to connect and works perfectly every time. It's also tiny, but still ergonomic.
Can't complain so far.

I am not happy with this product. I installed it using the CD provided. A week later it dropped the connection to my new laptop and wants to re-install itself over and over again. I downloaded a new driver and it did not help. An IT pro will be here tomorrow and I will let him work on it. I do not consider it reliable enough to take on a trip until it provees itself.

Battery life is decent - runs for weeks from 2 AA NiMh cells
As a presenter, the long reach (30+ feet) is appreciated
Good size; not too small for my size 12 hands yet takes little space in the laptop bag.
Decent software from Logitech
Programmable tilt on scroll wheel is great for L-R scroll in large spreadsheets.
On-Off switch helps to maximise the battery life.
I even like the colour.
Does not work worth a darn on glass, but that's not too hard to avoid.

I prefer using this over my Magic Mouse. The V470 has a right click and a scroll wheel that moves side to side as well. I use it with Pro Tools 9 and have no issues whatsoever. I also like the feel of it--very substantial. Nice functional and ergonomic design. Highly recommended.

I have two of them -one for each of my laptops. With the bluetooth, it frees up a USB port and there is one less connector to loose.

So easy to use. I used 2 other mice one didnt work and the the other only did a few things. I returned them. This one is the best.

Coming from other wireless mice, this is a solid device, but there are a couple things to get used to.

It is great to be free of a separate receiver that takes up a USB port and can possibly be damaged. However, turning off this mouse using the power button will inadvertently disconnect the mouse from your computer (at least this has been the case with mine). When this happens, you will need to remove the device from your computer and start the discovery process over. Kind of annoying, so we'll see how often I have to do this. If it gets too cumbersome, I may switch back to a traditional wireless mouse with receiver.

I have also noticed a delay sometimes in the cursor moving on the screen when I move the mouse. It has not happened often and so far is not a problem, but just seems to be a occasional quirk with using Bluetooth.

Have not had it long enough to comment on battery life.

I find this mouse is perfect for me. As an adult female, it's just the right size to fit comfortably in my hand. It responds quickly too. I had a couple of times when it didn't respond after my laptop was in hibernation but usually I just hit the connect button (on the mouse) and it reconnected. That was when I first got it, but had it a few months now and don't have problems anymore. Works on almost any surface.

Not a sufficient replacement for a non-Bluetooth mouse (excluding Apple's Bluetooth mouse). Too much lag time between moving the actual mouse and the cursor moving on the screen.

In use this mouse in my home office with a desktop. I like the smaller
footprint it takes up. I also find it quite accurate with Adobe applications.

Use this with a 2010 MacBook Pro. I like how small it is for carrying, but still big enough to be reasonably comfortable to use with my large hands. BlueTooth connectivity means no RF USB antenna nubbie to lose or break off, and it keeps me from having to give up a USB port for a mouse.
