Comments about Klipsch Custom-2 In-Ear Stereo Headphones:
I own Grado SR 225is at home and thus the bar is set high here. I opened the box of custom 2s, spent a nice hour finding the perfect fitting Ear gel out of the handy case that accompanies the Custom 2s.
After finding the right gel - the one with 2 steps!- I plugged them in my EMU 0202 and used audio CDs for auditioning them.
Fans of Rock, Psychedelia and Hip Hop will love the well placed instruments and deep bass on this one. Lows are really well produced and so are highs! Not too bright.
As for vocals, they just aren't my type! Nothing really wrong with them but it just doesn't tickle my particular idea of how vocals should sound. I tried Diane Krall and Nouvelle Vague to test that and was left a little disappointed. Also wondering why is it just the vocals and not the mid range in all that doesn't satiate me because Sax/Trumpets in Miles Davis's Flemenco Sketches sound very much how they should - subtle and crisp.
The fit is really good after you find the appropriate Custom Ear gel. As for the build quality, so far so good :)

Comments about Klipsch Custom-2 In-Ear Stereo Headphones:
Bit of an audiophile, so I was looking for something with good sound quality. I'm also a cyclist/runner, so the adjustable over-ear memory-wire is great. Also lets you pop them in for noise isolation, or leave em 'hanging' if cycling, so you can hear what's going on around you.
These headphones have great range, treble especially. Bass is not as strong as some more expensive phones, but you will definitely hear it.
The phones seem durable (had em for a few months, so not yet a long-term experience) and have a Klipsch warranty anyways.
Very comfortable, a wide variety of tips are included, both single- and double-flange. Easy to pick what works best for you.
I would definitely recommend these headphones! Great for the price!

Comments about Klipsch Custom-2 In-Ear Stereo Headphones:
I play keyboards in a couple of different bands. I like the isolation the earbuds provide because I stand next to the (very loud) drummer. The Custom-2 buds are very clear sounding with adequate bass. Vocals come through well even down in the mix a little bit, and I can hear everything I need to hear. I like 'em!!!!!!!! oh..........but the case could use a little work. It's way big enough to hold the earbuds and ipod and extension cable, but I'm always afraid I'm going to crush the earbuds because of the soft case.
