The Astatic AS900W Overhead Microphone is an ideal solution for capturing choirs, stage performances, ambiance, and more. The inconspicuous design features transformerless electronics for low-noise and clean audio reproduction. The cardioid polar pattern rejects feedback and increases range.
The capsule is mounted on a 7" (17.78cm) flex-pipe for precision positioning. A 30' (9.14m) twist resistant cable features an XLR connector which houses the microphone's output electronics. A 0.22" (0.55mm) hole behind the capsule allows a monofilament line to inconspicuously hang the capsule over stages, choirs, pulpits, etc.

- The cardioid polar pattern rejects feedback from nearby monitors and audio sources while increasing range.
- Transformerless Electronics
- The transformerless output stage is housed externally, on the connector end of the cable. This allows for a small profile, low noise and clean audio reproduction.
