An awesome deal. 8GB, Class 6 is perfect for most shutterbugs out there. gives you about 425 RAW + hi-res JPEG shots. There's something comforting about having 425 RAW, yet-to-be-determined images at your fingertips. I've spoken with some professional photographers, and they like to use a mix of smaller cards (2-4GB) along with one or two larger 8-16GB cards. They due this for security, so that they're not dependent on just one, big card (i.e., if that card fails, is erased, etc., they're screwed).

I purchased this card hoping to get the same quality I have come to expect from a class 6 card made by another manufacturer. I shoot raw DSLR files and expect quick speed with shooting fact action sports. Not only does this card fail to deliver on that quickness I've come to need, it also has corrupted files whilst in camera.
So, I decided to just use it as external storage to send files to a client and it corrupted files whilst connected to my computer. Even a full reformat didn't fix these issues. True, I may have gotten a bad card, but I don't have time to find out. Back to the other manufacturer for me!

Comments about Kingston 8GB Class 6 SDHC Card:
I bought four of these cards and over the course of two weekends of shooting three of them failed. I got the "Check Card" error on my Panasonic HMC-150 after filling each card with event footage. The cards had all been successfully used and formatted previously.
My only option now clean room data recovery. That hurts both my confidence and pocketbook. Big mistake buying inexpensive cards. This SDHC workflow is so delicate it makes me miss tape.

works good with my camcorder HF-200. I'm filming in the 1920x1080 resolution and the card processes it all as it should.

Comments about Kingston 8GB Class 6 SDHC Card:
I bought this to use on a Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3K that is 10.1 Megapixel and I wanted something that could do video and hold lots of pictures and I definitely got what I was looking for. Class 6 is one of the fastest SDHC cards and it is recommended especially in video mode.

Pretty fast card, good for intermediate photographers. For a class 6 & 8GB, it is a very good price. Overall a great memory card, no complaints.

Have only had the card for a few weeks, but no problems thus far. Write speed is fast enough to record full HD video with my Canon SX1 IS. Would buy again.

Just what I needed. I got this card for use with the Panasonic HMC-150 and so far I've not had any problems whatsoever. Plugs right in to my off-brand SD card - USB converter for use on my MacBook Pro.
Seems durable, and it's not all too expensive.

I only use it for few weeks on both my Panasonc ZS3 and Canon T1i.
I take photos and HD movies on both cameras.
Everything goes fast, without any lag for writing photos on the card.
Very happy with the card.

Comments about Kingston 8GB Class 6 SDHC Card:
I bought this Sd card to use in my Canon PowerShot S3is. Using the AllBest hack I was able to remove the 1G video limit of the camera and have a really nice video camera available by simply plugging this card into the S3.
This card is FAST. It allows my camera to stream video to the card without any hitches, stutters, or gaps. And the price can't be beat.
So far there are NO negatives for me to report about this product.
