The 1TB LinkStation Pro Duo Shared Network Storage from Buffalo is a high-capacity drive with an interface that allows it to be connected via Gigabit Ethernet and a rotation speed of 7200rpm.
In addition to providing simple network storage, the drive can serve as a network server for a USB 2.0 storage device. You can even use the included backup software to schedule data backups to the attached USB 2.0 storage device.
The drive is easily integrated into your network, making it easy to share files among users. You can even integrate it into your wireless network by plugging it into your wireless access point or router. The included Memeo AutoBackup software lets you back up data from your network. These features make the drive an excellent solution for media streaming, data backup, or general storage in small networks.

Comments about Buffalo 1TB LinkStation Pro Duo Shared Network Storage:
Set up went as expected, it has a lot of capabilities and it takes a little while to go thru them all but that's what I wanted. Works very well, it has the capability to attach additional shared storage via the two USB connectors in the back, a nice plus. The only negative was that nowhere did the users guide mention how to open the device to replace a drive if needed. A quick call to Buffalo, and the answer was simple. Not sure why they left out that one small but important piece? It was minor and didn't change my over all opinion, I would purchase again.

Comments about Buffalo 1TB LinkStation Pro Duo Shared Network Storage:
Easy to setup, only problem I have is using the Web Interface. The technical support crew at Buffalo will only asssist with the setup of the NAS (which I did not need)and will not tell you what routers are known to be compatible.
