This is an excellent way to safely handle a camera when a neck strap is not required. The quick release connectors match those on other Tamrac quick release straps allowing easy interchange for multiple cameras. Please note that this strap is not designed to be a handgrip. Weight: 1 oz (28 g)

Great strap for camera use but also great for strapping down items on my backpacks. one use is to hold my packs on my back with use of this strap for a chest strap. use of rings aids in the versatility of the straps.

Comments about Tamrac N-15 Camera Hand Strap Quick Release (Black):
I have used the regular size quick release by Tarmac before and loved it, I lost it and wanted a replacement and purchase this by accident. It is still a good product if you want a hand strap.

Comments about Tamrac N-15 Camera Hand Strap Quick Release (Black):
Strap has extra length so that you don't hang the camera from your neck. Instead, put your head AND left arm through the strap. Then the camera strap is supported on your right shoulder, NOT your neck. Then, switch to let your left shoulder carry the weight and give your right shoulder a rest. This is an effective way to let your shoulders take turns and save your neck!

Unless you wear big padded gloves, this performs more as a carry strap than a strap to keep the camera in hand.

I use this to provide a more secure grip on my D-SLR.

no good as a hand strap for shooting. it is way too big. I have LARGE hands and even after cinching everything down I had about 4 inches of slack. provides no security whilst shooting. only to be used as a one hand carrying strap.

a cheaper alternative to the Canon handstrap. I have one for my Canon XTi and 40D. I should have paid the extra $10 for the Canon!

Comments about Tamrac N-15 Camera Hand Strap Quick Release (Black):
Fits well with Tamrac system. Does the job, but not very comfortable. I had to use a quick release plate to secure the strap at the base. No padding on the strap. It does allow for secure one handed operation once in place. All in all it's OK.

Our family of 4 photographers, just came back from visiting 5 National Parks and they are delighted with Tamrac's products. [...]We do not envision buying any other products from any other company. As my son says B&H ROCKS!! (It's true).
