These straps are made of tough and stretchy neoprene rubber. They are easy on the neck and very comfortable as the neoprene acts as a shock absorber to absorb the weight of the camera and provide all-day neck comfort. The quick release buckles allow flexibility and interchange with all other Tamrac quick release systems. Adjusts to 42" in length. Color: Black

Camera straps tend to annoy me... but I understand their value in that situation when something suddenly slipppppssss... Two of my biggest annoyances are always 1) shooting in portrait mode and fighting the strap away from the viewfinder, and 2) having straps dangling when a camera is on a tripod. This item easily solved both of my quirky annoyances. With the quick release buckle, a simple snap removes the straps (or even just one side) for portrait shooting and tripod use. Wonderful.
Works well the load of D300, grip and lens...although the "bouncy" nature of the neoprene take a bit to get used to and is disconcerting at first.

It's very comfortable, but too short.
I like the comfort of the neoprene, but way to short to carry across the body. I can only use this strap around my neck

Simply put reflex cameras are heavy so especially if you have to travel around for an entire day with your camera hung around your neck you know how unconfortable it can be. This strap works well, you still feel the weigth but at least you won't have the effect "it's cutting through my neck"... And the added bonus is that you can detach it fast from the camera!

I use this strap when I travel especially for when I have to walk a longer distance. It feels good on the shoulder and seems to lighten the load of my heavy Canon 5D MkII with 24/105 zoom lens. The quick release of the strap also help packing the camera/lens into a leather case. I love it. I also like the fact that many other reviewer had said that it did not advertise for Canon.

Comments about Tamrac N-25 Neoprene Quick Release Strap (Black):
I use this strap for my Nikon D90, a fairly heavy camera when equipped
with a zoom lens. The N-25 is far more comfortable than the Nikon strap
which is not only an ugly walking marquee but also tends to dig into your shoulder after 2+ hour walks.
You have to get used to the extra play/bounce afforded from the stretchy-neoprene but once you do you'll appreciate the added flexibility and comfort.
Construction is excellent and materials appear to be built-to-last.

Comments about Tamrac N-25 Neoprene Quick Release Strap (Black):
Bouncy, bouncy, I know, but in defiance of the laws of physics, these rubber straps remove about a pound of weight from the camera/lens rig you are carrying around your neck or hanging over an aching shoulder. I don't know how it works, but it does. I have used one of these straps during six years of arduous photographing, and it has not failed me yet.
If a dangling strap bothers you during tripod work, there are clips on both ends that allow easy removal of most of the strap. When the strap is removed this way, two little ears, each about 4" long, remain dangling from the sides of the camera. These have never caused me any problem, and in fact I usually keep the strap in place while tripoding.
My only difficulty with the strap is that I found the initial attachment more difficult than I expected, but I am unusually inept with small buckles and such. Someone deft could doubtless do it blindfolded; instructions are included.

Just what I was looking for! This is one of the most comfortable straps I have ever owned. The Canon strap that came with my 7D had no padding whatsoever, nor did I want to advertise that I had a $2000 camera around my neck. The quick releases are great for when you want to put the camera on a tripod. Excellent strap!!

The perfect solution to keeping that strap from being in your way when you have the camera on a tripod. It installs very easily and the quick clips make it a snap to remove or reinstall when you need the camera back around your neck. Such a cheap easy solution to an annoying problem!

This camera strap is definitely more comfortable than the one provided with my Canon 50D. Some people have said they wish it was longer. However, I'm 5'5", and there's room to let the strap out further.

Great Tamrac quality! Very comfortable. Perfect for travelling with my D80 with 18-200 lens attached.
However, while the strap's length is fine for wearing around your neck with the camera in front of you, it is just too short for wearing over one shoulder with the camera on your other side.

Comments about Tamrac N-25 Neoprene Quick Release Strap (Black):
I bought this neckstrap to replace the original one on my camera. I was going for a more discreet look - didn't want to be a walking advertisement Canon. I wanted a neoprene strap for it's known comfort factor. The neck strap is very comfortable and does absorb shock. It was more "bouncy" then I had anticipated. The camera feels like it's on 2 bungee cords. This was more noticeable when I had the camera, lens and flash mounted. I didn't feel the weight of the camera/flash on my neck but it did ricochet off my chest a few times while walking. I can live with it though as I normally have just a prime lens attached. Less weight = less bounce. I enjoy the quick releases as I no longer have to wrap the neck strap around my wrists several times to get it out of the way.

Did not want to flash the brand name of my camera so I purchased this strap. Have to say it is extremely comfortable. The quick releases on either side of the camera is great for when you have to remove your camera quickly.

I was getting sore from my D300 strap. This one is amazingly comfortable while hiking around with the camera around my neck. So good that I've just ordered two more, one form my wife (who tried it out) and a second for my Sigma "Bigma".
