The Dot-Line Corp. White Balance Lens Cap is great for use with digital cameras. Just place the White Balance Lens Cap, point your camera at a subject area, and the incoming light is diffused to create an average white balance for a particular scene. (Check camera manufacturer's manual for setting white balance.). The White Balance Lens Cap easily slips on to the front of any appropriately sized lens, or a lens with a protective filter. Even if your lens has a bayonet mount on the outside, simply use the adapter provided. The lens cap comes with a handy loop to connect it to a camera strap or strap lug so you don't lose the cap.

Comments about Dot Line 67mm White Balance Lens Cap:
I have a Canon 5D Mk2 and I bought this product for all my lenses and they screw to the lens and you can just pop on or off and they work perfectly.
You just take a picture with the filter and then
set your picture to the custom balance and every picture you take will have that custom white balance. Fair price not like the others that want to take consumers for a ride on a simple product.

Comments about Dot Line 67mm White Balance Lens Cap:
Work good for the price. I'm happy with the results. From what I have read, it does not work good in mixed light. I don't think it was made for mixed light. You could get and expo disk for mixed light but even Expo's W. B. cap does not do mixed light nether just the the Expo disk.

Comments about Dot Line 67mm White Balance Lens Cap:
I bought 2 of these as a quick way to white balance my t2i for video work, they work ok in some situations but in mixed lighting or outside they produce images that are way too cold. I have since bought a collapsable 18% gray card/white card for a little more money and I am much more satisfied with the results.
Not the best white balance tool but then again for the price what else is there?

I'm very glad I bought this handy little device. My apartment has really terrible lighting and when I'm taking pictures inside this white balance lens cap is invaluable. Finally the colors and lighting look good when I take indoor shots!

Comments about Dot Line 67mm White Balance Lens Cap:
This product is great for making a custom white balance in the camera (I use it with a Canon Rebel XSi) as you take the photos. It is much more helpful than doing it in Photoshop later with a WhiBal or other card.
It won't work with all situations, like sunsets (though that does make for some funky moon-like photos), but it works well for most situations.
The only thing is that I wish it was a squeeze-on cap like a regular lens cap, as it is time-consuming to screw this cap on, especially since the threads tend to not go on straight. However, I have found that my 67mm white balance cap with the adapter fit on actually snaps right onto my 58mm lenses. So, I might buy a larger one of these caps for my 67mm lens so I can snap it on and off. It is a lot better than buying one of the more expensive brands in both sizes!

I checked it against the automatic and the specific white balance setting (Fluorescent) and the colors came out better with the capo than with the camera's settings.
