My Mac Pro, now three years old, was getting slower by the day so I decided to add more RAM. The Crucial 2x4GB Kit has done the trick. It's like having a new machine. There's just no comparison between my machine a week ago and this. Two minutes to open up and plug in the chips - what a difference. Before, I was closing every app bar the one in use and still finding it frustratingly slow. Now it blazes along with half a dozen other apps open. I sit processing hundreds of images after every shoot and this is now saving me literally hours per day.

Crucial is now making this RAM, compatible with my older PowerMac, which is beyond Apple's original spec. I checked with Crucial and they said it's able to do this because of improved technology. So, you can SUPER-MAX out your RAM. I installed it in two computers, and it's working perfectly. Sweetness.
