The Bescor PRB-8XLRNC is a high performance starved electrolyte (Lead Acid) battery. The two-pouch battery belt design is constructed of a one piece tubular panel for maximum strength and durability. The PRB-8 is memory free and when properly maintained will offer a consistent run time over the life of the battery. Offers a standard female cigarette connector in addition to an XLR barrel connector for use with any four-pin XLR powered device. Fits waist sizes from 28 to 50"
- Cell Chemistry
- The PRB-8 utilizes Starved Electrolyte, also known as gel-cell or lead acid. Advantages are low cost, high per cell voltage, no memory effect and good capacity life.
- Dual Output
- Dual power outputs are included. One cigarette connector and one professional 4-Pin XLR connector are built-in to power two different devices simultaneously. A 6' 14 gauge superflex cable lead is supplied for the 4-Pin connection.

The only negative thing about it is it's weight. Other than that, it's a battery, and it works. I'd recommend getting the automatic charger with it. It takes 4 or 5 uses to get the full charge out of the battery. I use it with my Frezzi on-camera light for a total of about 50 minutes.
